Eustice House

Built for his family in 1893 by Thomas Eustice, a miner from Silver Plume who developed "miners consumption" and needed to relocate to lower altitude. In later years, this was the home and medical office of Dr. Richard Russell. He was an early Arvada physician, civic leader and the first mayor, but didn't reside here until after serving as mayor. In 1934, he sold this home and his practice.
